A first application on water: https: //www.water4allSDG.org

Thanks to the Water4allSDGs ® application, online since March 2022 free of charge, in English and French, you can easily assess your project's positive and negative contributions to the SDGs without needing to know the details of the SDGs.

This application, developed by the Partenariat Français pour l'Eau (French Water Partnership) in conjunction with SDG CHAMPIONS France, is a breakthrough that avoids "SDG-washing" and respects the "systemic" nature of the Agenda 2030.

Thanks to Water4allSDGs, even a non-specialist on the SDGs can :

  • Make visible the contributions of a project or policy to the SDG targets ;

  • At least partially objectify these contributionsHighlight the project's strengths and weaknesses in terms of the SDGs

  • Consider corrective measures for any negative impacts

  • Compare the impact of different project variants on a particular SDG target

  • A solid analysis in the form of a report that can be shared with others

In particular, the results appear in the form of a bar chart, allowing immediate visualization of the SDGs or SDG targets impacted by the project or policy.

A second application in the pipeline: Education4allSDGs

Building an education policy or project that contributes to sustainable development can be difficult, because reasoning is very often organized in thematic "silos" that fail to integrate interdependencies, and because the richness of Agenda 2030 makes its content difficult to master.

The Education4allSDGs international application project will enable national and local decision-makers or any other education stakeholder worldwide to assess the positive or negative impacts of an education policy or project (teaching and learning, but also governance, facilities and activities, and community partnerships) vis-à-vis the targets of the 17 SDGs, free of charge and without needing to know the latter.

Timetable :

  • July 7, 2023: installation of the International Steering Committee and approval of the project's terms of reference

  • September 2023: installation of international multi-stakeholder expert and user committees

  • February 2024: submission of finalized proposals by the Expert Committee for validation by the Steering Committee

  • March-April 2024: digital development

  • May-June 2024: Test phase with the International User Committee

  • July-August 2024: Computer finalization
